We are excited to announce the strategic separation of our Diversion Manager and Advent eLearning products. Customers who subscribe to Diversion Manager will continue to benefit from enhanced features supporting them in effectively managing their diversion programs, including non-digital interventions. We are increasing opportunities for integration with external products, such as live course activity, community service, and others. Diversion Manager is our well-established, robust platform built through consistent customer feedback and feature expansion. Advanced workflow automates screening, communication and disposition eliminating manual steps and it increases productivity. Agencies can dispose of high volumes of cases in a matter of minutes rather than days while managing processes like registration, screening, fee handling, document upload/verification, and robust reporting.

The Diversion Manager Login Screen located at http://app.diversionmanager.com/, can be accessed by going to https://www.diversionmanager.com/ and clicking on the login button. From here simply input your login credentials (same as before) and you will be able to access the Diversion Manager environment.
Advent eLearning provides a comprehensive solution for agencies that require a lighter version of Diversion Manager without the associated costs. With over 30 evidence-based online treatment programs and multiple access points Advent eLearning allows students to easily and intuitively self-enroll. Agencies can refer students directly to courses and receive milestone notifications and a certificate of successful completion. Courselink and Program Code Advent eLearning clients can direct students into pre-set agency learning environments and can receive monthly reporting to track how many courses their agency utilized. Advent eLearning provides a great starting point for agencies with lower volumes of diversions, and fewer platform features allowing for an effective solution at low or no cost with the ability to grow into the more robust Diversion Manager platform when needed.
The Following changes will be moved into production on Saturday August 9th, 2025. Please contact Advent Client Services via email at help@adventfs.com with any questions or to request assistance in using this new functionality.
External Treatment Validation
The new External Treatment Validation functionality allows for external treatment providers to validate that treatment was provided to the student user simply by clicking confirmation links. This functionality is tied to external companies which will appear such as the one featured below.

External companies will now be able to be associated with your institution allowing for you to have a list of only the external treatment providers your institution utilizes. If you do not have any external provider associated with your institution then a global list will be displayed. If you wish to add an external company simply click the new company button and fill out the information as shown below.

Additionally, should you require confirmation from the third party, the new Monitoring Email functionality also for a message to be sent to the email address located within the contact information of the selected company, to activate this functionally simply click the “Uses Monitoring Emails” box for any new companies.

This email is provided to the external / 3rd party treatment provider during each of their respective due dates via email. This email allows the treatment provider to note if the student has received their required treatment or not on each of the student user’s due dates. Once the treatment provider has noted successful compliance then the unit will be moved to a passed status such as below.

Notice of Pending Application on Student Homepage

Students who have applied for a program and have their assignment currently within the pending application table, will receive the above message on their student homepage. Now students can see the status of their application in real time on their student homepage.
Mail Credentials Tied to Enrollment Letters

Agencies who do not utilize enrollment letters will now no longer see the option to use letters during the Step 1: Register a Student step. If your agency does utilize enrollment letters, then they will still have the ability to send out credentials by mail.
For all agencies who do not utilize enrollment letters it will default to email and allow you to select either email or text as an option. This was done to ensure that student users would always receive their credentials.
SMS Credentials Now Point to the Login Page

When sending credentials via text, the student will be sent to the login page as shown above, rather than the welcome page. This was done as student users would sometimes get lost and attempt to register for their agency again. By changing the link to point to the login page, the student user will now only be able to login in with their provided credentials when a credentials text is sent.
New Credit Card Number Mask on Payment Screen
Some students were confused when making card payments under our PCI-mandated masking requirements, as when they load into the page the credit card field would appear to be populated with characters already as shown below. This led to students believing their information had already been autofilled in by their browser or they would lose track as they were entering it in.

The credit card field masking will now be displayed differently to make it simpler for the student user to enter in their data. Now the field will be empty when the student goes to enter in their data, instead of displaying masked characters. From here, when the student enters in their credit card information, it will display the character they have entered for approximately 1-3 seconds or until the next character is entered after which it will be masked similarly to below.

Add Reminder Emails to Action Log

Reminder notifications that go out every 5 days and 2 days to remind the student of the upcoming due date of their units, will now be displayed on the Actions table. These notifications were previously not displayed on the table, leading to some confusion on whether or not the student user had received this notification. Now the system will display the action, noting which of the respective notifications was sent out as shown above.
Removal of the Seal Records Button

Due to changes in student privacy policies and contractual data ownership guidance, the Case Seal button has been removed from the assignment detail page, and Advent no longer physically seals cases at clients' requests.
Rather, clients designated as Diversion Manager users (have credentials to log in to make changes to assignments, export consumer information, etc.) have responsibility to protect, transmit, and dispose of consumer data pursuant to their agency's individual policies and guidelines.
To remove an assignment from the system for seals, expungements, etc., client users should select the Delete button on the assignment. Any records that should be retained in physical form for any purpose should be printed by the Client user prior to deleting the assignment.
